The Products
Our objective is to offer investors products that generate stable performance to a low risk profile. The fees should be in the lower range of comparable products while we aim for the best quality possible when it come to investment management and administration.
The investment management
Our view is that managers work best in tandem, sharing good times and bad times, always working in close connection, helping each other. Long experience and deep personal commitment are obvious requirements, but they should also be supported by the best possible analytical tools and systems. With the help of international contacts and a well-established network within the banking industry, together with the use of independent analysis from well renowned firms such as BCA, Roubini Global Economics, Pantheon Macroeconomics, SGH Macro Advisors and Medley Global Advisors, we have laid the foundation for successful asset management.
Administration
In order to ensure that the practical aspects work and that we have solid control functions we have established our own administrative unit. Julie Bonde is head of administration and together with Alexandra Truusööt and Louise Möllander, they are taking care of back-office, middle-office, risk control and questions related to unit holders. Anna Blom is compliance officer. In order for it to work with such a limited staff we have several service agreements in place with providers such as: LC24 (IT), Fortner (accounting), KPMG (audit), PWC (internal audit), FCG (Risk), SEB (custody). This way, we ensure a cost efficient and complete management of our complex hedge fund.
Distribution
We are a product company without a sales organization. As a consequence, our own sales efforts are focused to institutional clients while for retail clients we co-operate with third party distributors. Thomas Pohjanen works with investor relations, distribution and business development. If you want to invest in the fund you can either contact us via mail or phone to make a direct investment in either of the funds, or alternatively you can invest through one of the platforms we are represented on, or via one of our distributor companies. Currently, we distribute Excalibur through the platforms Avanza, Nordnet, and Fondmarknaden.se. In addition we have distributor agreements with MFEX (Mutual Funds Exchange) and Allfunds where for instance Penser, Carnegie, SEB Asset Management, SHB Luxemburg and Söderberg & Partners trade our fund.
